A very happy Chinese New Year to all! Today, as the school's population was way bigger than the past few years, the school had no choice but to make this school day a full day, whereby we went home at 12.45 on Fridays. Today, almost everything went on smoothly, except for the first half of today. Well, some students forgot to bring their textbooks, what more can I say? Social Studies lesson could not star as there were insufficient students to carry on the lesson(30%) of students from class were performers at the hall. For English, there was just the presentations to do. Mine was more of an impromtu speech than a well prepared presentation, as it was last minute preparation for me this morning, told that there would be a change in topic for me. It went smoothly for the first part, but my loudest volume could not reach those at the sides. Suddenly, at the last part, I went blank, lost for words... At least thereis part two to be presented by the teacher herself, for the other students on Wednesday after the New Year.Well, for Biology today, just as I hoped it would be, one and a half hours of Recess! Basically, today, there was no lesson for us who selected this course. So, my burden of 2 Kg to school was a total waste of my own effort.
The celebrations at the hall went throughput very smoothly, the calm and atmospheric music by the school band, graceful dancers of all races and even a lion dance! The very first in Yuan Ching history. Well that should be it, for the next few days, I dont really know if there is really going to be much excitement like the previous years...

The next event right up!
Yesterday, was the second big event I mentioned last year. The mass dotting of 34 dnacing dragons. Well, at least I saw the teachers', Edward's and our dragon on TV... Even the Education Minister and other grassroots leaders were there, i think. Tomorrow, would be the next rehearsal. There was one good, and special thing about our dragon... it was used only for competitions. There were a total of three of those dragons. It was because of our great skill and teamwork that gave us this" promotion" from the odinary one to the special and quite heavy one, i'd say. Two days from here, another presentation to the lower secondary awaits. The recollections of the Shan Dong Immersion programme. I just write till here then...

After all that hard work...
At school yesterday at 4Pm, The secondary one orientation was a couple of hours into action. 5.30, they were having dinner, after which, it started raining heavily... The was a wrong instruction, which I had no idea who wanted us to take those benches to the hall, luckily, we managed to reverse the action, and moved all those benches back to the parade square. But, seemed like the effort was wasted as it started to rain torrntially after 30 minutes. In all, the ccampfire started 20 minutes behind time, so, some songs and a game was removed from the list, as time went, we were getting further and further from the end-time of the campfire, until it was 40 minutes past the expected time at 9.40 Pm. We had only 20 minutes to leave the school before the gate closes and we had to stay in the school.
Saw Caleb, and a few others in the school hall also helping out for the campfire to be a success yesterday. I had a surprise when the Mcees appeared. Well, the campfire looked almost real with the kerosene lamps inside a small structure of fire wood, making it look as if the campfire was burning. Overall, it was a success, whereby I was able to have a second Secondary One orientation campfire.

Times are Gonna Be Tough
Ok. Today's the first day of school. Back to the good old days again.......Maybe... NOT! This year is much tougher and challenging than the last 8 years of education. So, currently, I am very, contented with the subject teachers and form teacher who will be taking the class this year. I feel that, maybe compared to last year, there WILL NOT be as many posts compared to last year. Next year, will be, harder than this year. Many activitiescoming up, tests too, so little time. So, i think, for the rest of the posts, i try to keep them as short as possible...

A New Beginning
The first post of the year 2006. The previous year has certainly been a very memorable one, with times of joy and darkness. As time flew by quickly, it was hard, and almost impossible to capture all those memories in just one single scoop. Now, with a new start to the new year, there are many new things to discover and new goals to achieve.
Year 2005 , one with many challenges and much more conflicts than in 2004. Many things to remember, much more to forget. There's so much to remember, I can't just type them all in here. So, I will be depending on the previous posts to do the talking. So, the last thing for the year 2005, is that, may all conflicts and enemies be forgotten.

Three lines to represent three things and new hopes for the new year. So, this time, I must, be better than before, once it rises, the impact of a fall increases. No carelessness for the new year. New subjects will be introduced, together with new skills during lessons from next week onwards.
At midnight, for the first time, the new chapter started with a Big Bang.Fireworks. They gave the new year a headstart that, I fear, might be forgotten by the time the clock strikes 12:00 midnight on 31st December 2007. I hope to have much more friends by the end of the new school term. Next year's going to be many times tougher. Maybe, i'll just stop here, to turn to a blank, but new page for the start of the new year... ...
