Today's worth remembering. Why? Friends' birthday, and more importantly, the Student Council President's birthday,Andy's birthday.
Anyway, almost lost my way while searching for the barbecue pit and the rest of my friends, but not for long, after i gave a call to the person with the red umnrella-Andy himself.
Soon after that, joined Randall and gang with the Flying fox, pyramid and soccer. Well, soccer was the best part, one of, in fact. However, got a direct hit in the glasses, lukily the lens were not made of glass. Felt happy too, as that was the first time I headed a ball, and found out that it was not that painful at all... Time:0650. barbecue time. Ate quite a lot, and guess tomorrow might also get stomach upset. Some even brought their PSPs to play... with Damien and Andy's cousin arriving from Their "Puppet Dance" performance at Fort Canning Park at around 8 pm. Frankly, their looks took me by surprise. Guess I am starting to get goosbumps tonight...
Part two of the party. Birthday tradition. Well, it was quite intense, with almost every aspect included in this one. He also got to ride on a human sedan...That was really the show-stopper of the night.
Finally, time to go. Felt bored, so borrowed Edward's phone to get a few contact numbers. Thanks Ed! Damien's parents, too helped alot by preventing me from having to reach home later than 11pm( don't want to get caught by police). Thanks Damien! Finally, for the one who made it all possible, Andy and family. Thanks to you all too!
All in all, that was only a brief summary of the party, especially the best parts... however, there was so much to write, that I only took out the interesting parts that I liked about this evening.

Lessons learnt
This is a simple and short poem based on the many forms of lessons one could learn, both good and bad, with knowledge both useful and simply useless to a student. however, it all comes down to one thing: lessons are meant to infrom and educate people, both young and old.
Some lessons are facts of life,
Some lessons are of plain knowledge.
Some lessons are simply not meant to be.
Lessons are refreshing,
Lessons are enriching.
Lessons could be plain silly.
Some lessons learnt are to be kept for life,
Some lessons learnt are to be applied in Science and technology,
Some lessons learnt are just meant to confuse the learner.

A show,a group meal, and some item searching...
Today, the morning was quite monoturnous, except that during PE, had a great time under the rain( took a bath), and enjoyed the air-con in the computer laboratory 4 so much I almost slept...
The fun and memorable moments always come after school ,when the school mood gradually diminishes for the day. Went to Raffles Hotel with 10 others,to catch a show, "Where I Belong", performed by students aged 14 to 17, from various school in Singapore. the two-and-a-half hour show was quite impressive,I must say. The choreography, the actors and actresses too,put up a great performance. Some quotes that left me thinking for about thirty minutes or so, were "What is identity" ,"where do I truly belong","am I treated fairly" and "Why am I being treated in a certian way".
Anyway, after that, a great majority of us decided to head over to Raffles City Shopping Mall for dinner, all but one, and that leaves 10 of us, three girls, and the rest boys, seated together having our meals together. I bought an S$8 meal, comprising of Fish and Chips( quite a great prtion), side dishes of mushroom soup and garlic bread and iced-horlicks.Time Check: 1833 hours.
1900 hours, we went window shopping. Our Mission: Join our money together to get Andy, the Student Council President, a present for his 15th birthday. We started out from the nearest shop, a christian shop, with those sweet greeting cards, name-tags and music discs. We carried on to Robinson's, a department stall, before heading to 3 other sovenior shops. Had much fun and relly enjoyed it though. However, 2000 hours, mission failed, for I had to reach home at least an hour before 2200 hours, before it was too late. However, arrived an hour earlier, at 2100 hours.
That was only briefly what happened. Many other things occurred in the middle, but the words would get a little out of hand... So Long Till Next Time...

Taking alternatives
Finally do i get another chance to once again enter a new entry. So many things had happened, though. The last few days at school were great, however, it was the many episodes before and after school that created the darkness of the week.
Anyway, today, everything was great, except that 7 minutes later than my normal waking time... the reason? Staying up late till midnight the day before. this morning arrived in school only at 7.15 am. I would have been late should it be a Wednesday or Friday.
Geography wasn't the way I expected it to be. What the class was learning was part of geography, but sadly, the lesson had no link to the topic we were learning today. I felt myslef dosing off for the first time today during Chemistry... 1 belief there could be 2 reasons... lack of enough sleep, not used to trainee teacher's style of teaching.
Afternoon, the geography talk by a distinguished guest, invited from Kyoto University, Japan, was excellent, pardoning his English, as it can be considered excellent back at his hometown. The talk was actually about the ecological and natural impacts of building dams.
Then the bad news came. We could not complete our video today, as it was 3E2's turn to edit their videos. So, waited in school for about 10 minutes, before I found a reason to linger on in the classroom. Help the others with the notice board. This time round, the task was more efficient and well-planned, with our team of 8, comprising of 3 girls and 5 boys. The effort put in was way good. we even decorated the borders of the notice board!
Anyway, that was all for today. Hope that tomorrow will not lose my voice in a mere 10 minutes again...

How the morning went by...
Today, flag day. Quite an improvement from the last one 2 years ago. From 1/8 of the can to half the can. Anyway, this is how the time drfted by. Left house at 8.10 am to school. Arrived at 8.40, to hand in homework. Saw a group of girls( from same class) heading for the MRT station. However, did not manage to find Ms Lim, so left the school in a hurry at 8.45 am. Met Auggie, Chong Siang, and Zhong Rong on the way there. So arrived there, saw some of them already at work. The thing was that, we were late.
Met Randall, Went to Ginza Plaza at 10.20 am, after deciding, from Chinese garden, to Clementi, to Ginza Plaza. Many people frequented the overhead bridge linking the shopping centre and the bus top. The good thing was, we had the whole bridge to ourselves! So, there we were, Randall and I, on each side of the bridge. collecting donations. Funny thing was, many gave the money, but refused to accept the stickers( flags). That was why I was having a hard time, clearing flags, instead of money... I did not want the can to get so heavy. 11 pm, headedback to the main location, Jurong East. After alighting from the bus we rode on, Randall discovered that his hannd phone was missing...sarting a mass run. Quite lucky, as the bus was only 2 stops before the interchange. Managed to retrived the hand phone. We tried comparing with the others, but theirs were still much heavier in the end.
Here's the fun, and best part of the whole morning. Slacking Time! We met Damien, Chong Siang, Chie Heng, Chi Kai, Yung An,Yee Ling, Li Lin and Miss Lim at a corner, near the library. The competition there was not that bad, as we were neither at the top, nor were we at the bottom. We followed Damien and Zhong Rong to the enterment centre, and a came to a computer game shop. Two boys, really did it. Playing a PS2 soccer game, while waiting for the 5 hours to be over. We also got something to fill our stomaches. At 1pm, spotted the girls' group, some distance from us. I actually wanted to go over to a small" competition", but I know, that, in this sort of an activity, girls tend to do much better, so, better not risk it.
1.45 pm. Went to submit the cans, and all. Went back to school, with the same friends whom I met on the way to the library. This time, Miss Lim was still not in school yet, so, I still could not get the camera, and check on my laptop. Anyway, it's good that I was gaining experience and a little practice for the next round in a few weeks' time.
